(photo source: AFC official website) according to foreign media reports, AFC energy company of the UK launched hydrogen power charger for electric vehicles. This self-contained charging system is based on the alkaline battery technology, which can effectively overcome the problem of poor grid coverage, and can quickly charge electric vehicles wherever necessary. According to the latest research, in the UK, to achieve the target of electric vehicle deployment, it needs to invest nearly 100 billion pounds to complete the charging network upgrade nationwide and deploy dedicated electric vehicle charging stations. In addition, fleet, commercial vehicle and parking lot operators need large-scale fast charging, in some cases, if they do not upgrade the local grid, they cannot meet this demand. AFC energy's system is designed to solve this problem by safely using various hydrogen sources through electric vehicle chargers, while operating at the best efficiency for fast charging at the necessary time and place. The system combines existing complementary technologies to help customers achieve net zero carbon emissions, control power costs, improve the charging capacity of electric vehicles, and provide technical strategies. In the first mock exam, the modular hydrogen power system, equipped with mechanical and electrical components and environmental control devices in the ISO insulated container, can adapt to all kinds of climate conditions and will not produce similar smell or noise like diesel generators. The system has three standard configurations and can provide up to 100 charging interfaces at the same location. AFC energy accepts hydrogen sources and auxiliary equipment from third-party suppliers to support new systems and build final product solutions. The company can work with all EV charging platforms to provide systems as part of an integrated emissions free charging system. As one of the earliest developed technologies, alkaline fuel cell uses potassium hydroxide electrolyte, and can use a variety of non noble metals as positive and negative catalyst. In recent years, a new type of alkaline fuel cell with polymer membrane as electrolyte (PEM) has emerged. The PEM fuel can be used in fuel cell vehicles, solid polymer electrolytes and porous carbon electrodes containing platinum or platinum alloy catalysts. In general, the electrochemical reaction speed of alkaline fuel cell is fast and its performance is excellent; in space application, the efficiency can be increased by 60%; moreover, compared with other types of fuel cell, it has greater fuel tolerance. The hydrox cell (L) and hydrox cell (s) batteries of AFC energy company are compatible: hydrogen produced by hydrogen electrolysis water generated from ammonia cracking is discharged from hydrogen industry and converted into hydrogen gas by biogas. In actual operation, in order to reduce the transportation link, AFC energy company is very interested in on-site hydrogen production for specific site use.
