According to foreign media reports, aceinna recently announced the launch of a new low-cost, advanced and high-performance three band RTK / GNSS (real time dynamic measurement / Global Navigation Satellite System) receiver, openrtk330l, with triple redundant inertial sensors. The navigation solution is very compact and is designed to replace the expensive and cumbersome RTK/INS (real-time dynamic measurement / inertial navigation) system used in the current autopilot car to meet the high performance, high reliability and cost requirements in the automotive market, as well as the needs of robots, UAVs, construction and agricultural systems. (picture source: aceinna) aceinna's openrtk330l includes a three band RTK / GNSS receiver equipped with redundant inertial sensor array, which can provide centimeter level accuracy, enhanced reliability and still provide excellent performance during GNSS interruption. Openrtk330l integrates a very accurate 2 degree / hour inertial measurement unit (IMU), which can still provide 10 to 30 seconds of precise positioning when GNSS is completely unavailable, so that system developers can safely integrate high-precision positioning functions on the vehicle, and the cost is in line with the budget. Openrtk330l's embedded Ethernet interface can be directly and easily connected to GNSS calibration networks around the world. Openrtk330l's can bus interface makes it easy to integrate into the existing vehicle architecture. The multi band GNSS receiver can monitor all constellations in the world (GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, NAVIC and SBAS) and track up to 80 channels at the same time. The module can provide RF (radio frequency) and fundamental frequency support for L1, L2 and L5 GPS bands and the same level signals of international constellation. Based on aceinna's unique triple redundant 6-axis IMU array, the IMU and track reckoning function consists of nine accelerometers and nine rate gyro channels. By integrating a triple redundant IMU array, openrtk330l can only identify and utilize effective sensor data, ensuring the high-precision protection limit and verifiability of iso26262 standard. The openrtk330l is supported by aceinna's open navigation platform and allows the development of embedded applications based on aceinna's proven positioning engine and dead reckoning algorithm. Autopilot solution developers have full access to all the resources on the openrtk330l module, including the measurement data of GNSS receiver, IMU measurement data and all interfaces. Specifically, openrtk330l GNSS receiver can support navigation systems such as GPS (L1 C / A, L2C and L5), GLONASS (l1of, l2of), Beidou (b1i, b2i), Galileo (E1, E5A, e5b, E6), QZSS (L1 C / a) and NAVIC. The IMU sensor array includes a triple redundant, 3-axis MEMS angular rate sensor and a triple redundant, 3-axis MEMS accelerometer. Aceinna openrtk330l hardware also includes Ethernet, universal asynchronous transceiver (UART), serial peripheral interface (SPI) and can interface, which can integrate various functions into the host system. In addition, other specifications of the OpenRTK330L include operating temperatures ranging from minus 40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, in line with vehicle vibration and vibration standards.
