Recently, we obtained a group of application drawings of Guangzhou Automobile wildlander from the Ministry of industry and information technology. The new car is positioned as a compact model with Chinese name or "willanda". The new car is built on the ga-k platform based on tnga architecture. The new car can be understood as the sister model of the new RAV4 Rongfang, with great differences in appearance. The front face adopts the long and narrow headlamp group modeling, and the air intake grille is similar to the trapezoid design. Among them, hybrid models are decorated with blue elements in the brand logo. The body size is 4665 / 1855 / 1680mm, the wheelbase is 2690mm, only 65mm longer than RAV4 Rongfang in length, and the hybrid logo is also on the fender. The rear of the car is designed with a transverse tail lamp group, and connected with two sides by a chrome plated decorative strip. The exhaust layout with two sides and two outlets is under the rear surrounding. In addition, the blue element is still added to the logo of the rear compartment of the hybrid model, and the word "hybrid" is marked on the rear end to distinguish the fuel model. In terms of power, the new car will be available in 2.0L and 2.5L mixed drive versions, fuel version or equipped with 2.0L in-line four cylinder natural suction with maximum power of 171 HP, transmission system matching CVT stepless, and four-wheel drive system. The hybrid version or the combination of 2.5L in-line four cylinder naturally aspirated engine with dual motors with a combined maximum power of 222 HP is used, and the transmission system is matched with E-CVT transmission. Guangqi Toyota wildlander and Toyota RAV4 Rongfang share the same market positioning. Whether its future performance can be comparable to RAV4 Rongfang remains to be tested by consumers.
