Recently, horizon, an artificial intelligence chip company, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with InBev supercomputing. The two sides will explore in product and technical aspects and jointly develop intelligent driving solutions. It is reported that the jointly developed intelligent driving solution is expected to be adapted and launched on a mass production vehicle in 2020. As a first-class subsidiary of ZTE, InBev supercomputing has certain advantages in technology research and development, supply chain, product manufacturing, etc., while horizon has profound technology accumulation in computer vision and deep learning. Horizon said that the two sides will work together to promote the landing of China's advanced driving assistance technology (ADAS) and create intelligent driving products with industrial value. It is reported that horizon and InBev supercomputing will jointly provide domestic car manufacturers and system development companies with high-performance, low-power, vehicle specification level and open enabling computing platform system products, which can cover L1 ADAS to L4 automatic driving scenarios. In 2019, horizon launched the first vehicle specification level AI (Artificial Intelligence) chip, Journey II. Based on the second generation of journey, horizon has launched the ADAS visual perception solution, which can realize the real-time detection and recognition of nearly 100 kinds of targets in six categories, such as vehicles, pedestrians, road lines, traffic signs, license plates, traffic lights, etc. Horizon also expects to launch a new generation of vehicle specification AI chips in 2020.
