According to public data, the market size of CVT will reach 38 billion yuan in 2020. CVT has become the optimal transmission for small and medium displacement vehicles due to its good fuel economy and in line with the concept of Chinese people's vehicles, and gradually deepened in the domestic market of small and medium displacement vehicles. Zheshang securities research pointed out that the CVT penetration rate is expected to continue to increase from 17% in 2018 to 24% in 2023.
