Help autopilot Risa electronics join auto Alliance

Recently, according to foreign media reports, semiconductor solution provider Risa Electronics announced that the company has added the Automobile Computing Alliance (avcc) and become a core member. AVCC alliance members include vehicle manufacturers, auto parts suppliers and other semiconductor suppliers, aiming at coping with many challenges arising from the large-scale deployment of self driving cars. In October 2019, ARM, a British chip technology company, CO operated with general motors and motor vehicles to set up an automatic driving Computing Alliance. Three companies hope to promote the development of automatic driving computing system through cooperation. Alliance members also include NVIDIA, Japanese Denso, BOSCH, mainland and so on. All companies will jointly promote safe and reliable auto driving batch delivery. Masayasu Yoshida, vice president of research and development of Renesas electronic automotive systems, said that in order to achieve future mobile travel, the company will combine the technology and demand of auto driving, and the AVCC alliance will play a key role in the future development of mobile travel. Risa Electronics will co lead the evolution of autonomous driving technology with other member enterprises. Renesas electronics launched R-Car SoC autopilot sample in 2019, and is expected to be mounted on L4 class autopilot in 2020. According to Risa, the autopilot platform can integrate multiple cores according to different tasks to help the internal bus improve system throughput.
