On October 27, the leading area of the Internet of vehicles in Jiangsu Province was unveiled in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou. In the future, it will accelerate the application of intelligent driving demonstration in multiple scenes, such as urban public transport, taxi, logistics, sanitation, etc. Recently, the Ministry of industry and information technology of Jiangsu Province approved to support Xiangcheng District of Suzhou city to create a provincial leading area for the Internet of vehicles (Intelligent Internet connected vehicles), aiming to focus on cultivating new R & D enterprises and accelerating the technological breakthrough and model innovation of the Internet of vehicles. It is reported that Xiangcheng District of Suzhou will rely on the "10 square kilometers Yangtze River Delta International R & D community" and "6.5 square kilometers Suzhou (Xiangcheng) Sino Japanese intelligent manufacturing collaborative innovation zone central service core", and plan the test base of Jiangsu Province's Internet of vehicles pilot zone in three phases. The guidance on demonstration application of intelligent Internet connected vehicles (Trial) in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou city was released on the same day. By building a real application scenario and serving the demonstration application needs of enterprises such as intelligent driving taxis, buses and unmanned sanitation vehicles, the transition of intelligent Internet connected vehicles from R & D testing to demonstration application was accelerated, and commercial application was gradually realized. Zhou Yibiao, the second level inspector of Jiangsu Provincial Department of industry and information technology, said that since 2018, Jiangsu has taken the lead in promoting the layout of the Internet of vehicles and intelligent Internet connected vehicles, accelerating the road test of intelligent Internet connected vehicles, issuing guidelines for the construction of provincial standard system, promoting the identification of open test roads, and implementing a number of major technical breakthroughs, such as line control system, vehicle terminal and vehicle service platform The recognition of weaving advanced technology products has made remarkable progress in industrial development. Xiangcheng District of Suzhou, as a young urban area in the Yangtze River Delta, has a late development advantage in infrastructure construction such as communication, road and intelligent transportation. By 2020, the area plans to build 1500 5g base stations. In the next two years, the test road will be covered in national and provincial roads and urban main and secondary roads to meet the different test needs of intelligent driving enterprises.
