On November 13, Elon Musk, chief executive, said the brexit was the reason the company chose to build a gigafactory in Germany rather than in the UK. Musk told the media that there was uncertainty about the UK's decision to withdraw from the EU, "the risk is too great" to build a European factory in the country. Tesla's fourth super plant will be built in Berlin, and the company plans to build an engineering center. Another factor determining the location of the super plant, musk said, was the engineering prowess of Germany, which has two of the world's largest automakers, auto and Daimler.
