For most people, the car model is born with fuel-efficient, expensive, environmentally friendly, suitable for urban road conditions and other labels. However, this is just the impression of its first hybrid model. With the progress of technology, the price of hybrid vehicles is not only becoming approachable little by little, but also more importantly, with the diversified development of hybrid technology, hybrid technology is no longer willing to stick to the advantages of playing in the traffic jam of urban road conditions, but glows and heats up between some racetracks and rivers. Not long ago, CVM was lucky to experience the new generation RAV4 Rongfang with Toyota's latest hybrid system. After a day of field track test drive and off-road project experience, the expectation of CVM for Toyota hybrid system is satisfied. More importantly, we believe that the new generation of RAV4 Rongfang redefines the standard of "city" as a subdivision field once again. As one of the elders of "urban SUV" market segment, RAV4 can be traced back to the early 1990s, and the first RAV4 was born in 1994. At that time, the earliest model of RAV4 series was also defined as a micro multi-functional off-road vehicle, and its main appeal was naturally off-road. Then, with RAV4 officially entering China in 2009 and having a brand-new Chinese name "Rongfang", and the realization of two milestone goals of domestic sales reaching one million and global sales exceeding nine million in April last year, RAV4 Rongfang, which has experienced four iterative upgrades, has gradually evolved into a "city SUV" model that can be off-road and comfortable driving. It is worth mentioning that the left and right torque of rear axle can achieve a torque distribution of 0:100, which is better than the 50:50 torque ratio of most models of the same level. In the face of hump test, thanks to the optimization of body structure brought by tnga-k platform, the new RAV4 Rongfang still has 120mm ground clearance under full load, which greatly increases the trafficability. In addition, the new car's HAC uphill assist system and DAC hill descent function further ensure the user's driving safety. From 1997 to 2003, 1484 versions of RAV4 went out of Toyota's factory; from 2012 to 2014, Toyota brought another 2600 pure electric RAV4; not long ago, Toyota officially said it would launch the plug-in hybrid plug-in version of RAV4 in 2021. In addition to this generation of Rongfang with hybrid system, RAV4 will become a vehicle with four different power systems in the future: fuel, HEV, PHEV and Bev. In the view of CVM, Toyota's latest hybrid system is the most powerful weapon of the new generation RAV4. Compared with the same level model, Qijun and tuguan L, the hybrid system provides a higher level of handling performance and off-road ability.
