Recently, according to foreign media reports, Opel's small car ampera-e (sister model of bolt EV) is about to go out of the market due to Opel's no subsequent model development plan after being acquired by PSA group. In some European countries and regions, this model has begun to reduce prices and clear up its position. Before Opel was acquired by PSA, GM introduced bolt EV into Europe and named it ampara-e, which was sold under Opel brand. This model carries a 60kwh group with wltp endurance of 423km, which is quite considerable for a small pure electric vehicle. However, due to the high pricing in the European market (starting price of 44799 euros, about 340000 yuan), this model is not recognized by European consumers, and the sales volume is relatively low. Therefore, Opel does not intend to develop subsequent products for the model. With the impending discontinuation of ampera-e, the car began to adopt a large preferential sales strategy in some European countries and regions to complete the clearance. Take Amsterdam, the Netherlands as an example. At present, the price of the local entry-level model of ampera-e is 34149 euros (about 260000 yuan), 10650 euros (about 80000 yuan) lower than the official guide price.
