Recently, we learned from foreign media that we have obtained a new battery technology patent aimed at enhancing service life, performance and reducing manufacturing cost. It is worth noting that the technology patent is based on NCM (nickel cobalt manganese) positive material battery, and will use a new electrolyte with lower cost. In the Patent Description, Tesla said the battery will be used in cars and energy storage systems. It is understood that currently, NCA (nickel cobalt aluminum) positive material batteries are used in Tesla cars, and Tesla may switch to the NCM battery camp in the future. In April, it was revealed that Tesla was developing a new generation of batteries. The electric vehicle with the new battery will be able to drive more than 1 million miles (1.61 million kilometers), and will be available next year. Today, Tesla, which has obtained patents for new battery technology, may have taken another step toward this goal.
