First of all, it must be acknowledged that such a system architecture is very necessary for driving safety. It can reduce the loss as much as possible at the last moment, which is the most basic value of its existence. In other words, buying Tesla infrastructure package can achieve higher main safety effect. But! In China's complex and special road environment, Tesla's autopilot is definitely "a long way to go". Tesla only relies on video analysis. If it can't clearly identify all kinds of information, it doesn't have the premise of automatic driving. Even though its car control performance has become like a master, unfortunately, the number of eyes is too high, and the visual distance and recognition accuracy need to be improved. So in general: autopilot has a strong need for existence, but it can't be over relied on and absolutely can't be fully trusted. Tesla has achieved the latter, the former has achieved basic identification ability, and there is still a lot of room for optimization and improvement in identification based prediction.
