The company has established cooperation with automobile manufacturer Rinspeed, SAP company (software company), DEKRA (European vehicle testing company), Zurich Insurance Company (Zurich Insurance) and OSRAM to jointly develop payment technology. Wirecard will integrate its technology into the concept vehicle of Rinspeed in this cooperation, which will stimulate the operation mode of autopilot cars in the mass market in the future. This kind of car is conceived as a "mobile commerce" tool, which can serve multiple vertical industries such as retail, logistics and transportation. In addition, wirecard provides payment infrastructure for other deployment scenarios. Florian Eder, chief manager of wirecard's strategic alliance, said: "new modes of travel bring new possibilities to the passenger transport sector, which is increasingly adopting electric and cashless modes of transport." At the same time, on November 5 local time, wirecard also announced that it would pay as much as 109 million euros (about 840 million yuan) to acquire China's Beijing payment company, allscore payment services, to invest in the digital payment integrated licensing product portfolio. At present, Yao Lin, the founder and CEO of BCC, Shi Yonglei, the chairman of Shanghai Aiwu Investment Management Co. Ltd. and Lei Yifen, the owner of Shanghai listed supermarket chain, hold the majority equity of the company. According to the relevant conditions of the Convention and regulations, after the completion of the transaction, wirecard will hold 80% of all shares of BCC. Two years later, the call option enabled wirecard to acquire the remaining 20%. The acquisition will allow wirecard to enter the Chinese market and expand its global financial platform services by investing in digital payment licenses.
