The battery pack adopts the new power system technology, which is flat and easy to install. Xpand low battery pack (XLP) is suitable for vehicles with limited space, such as buses, trucks and trains. The battery pack is 185mm high and 612mm wide. It can be installed on new and existing medium and heavy trucks and buses with a length of 360-1080mm according to the battery capacity. With this design, manufacturers can adapt the battery pack to long-distance high energy storage applications without raising the platform of transport trucks and buses. The low profile XLP battery pack can be installed horizontally or vertically, providing greater flexibility. Coupled with the long-standing xalt battery management system architecture, it can provide flexible, fast charging and clean energy options for vehicles in large cities. Similar to other xalt Xpand series products, XLP battery pack adopts direct liquid cooling mode, with series voltage up to 1250v and enclosure up to IP67 protection level, which is suitable for side or bottom mounting interface bracket. In a single encapsulated XLP battery pack, the standard configuration is 1-3 sub battery packs, which can be customized as required. XLP battery pack adopts xalt large battery. Through high-energy electrochemistry and precision manufacturing process, the energy density of the battery module is more than 260 WH / L and the specific energy is more than 210 WH / kg. The battery pack is fully compatible with a range of battery modules, such as high-power, medium power versions of xalt large batteries, as well as the company's next generation of very high-power energy batteries. In 2021, xalt energy will start to produce XLP battery packs using existing battery technology.
